Advocacy & Social Service Support
At the Ga Adangbe Toronto Association, our commitment to community growth encompasses both Advocacy and Social Service Support. We believe in the transformative power of advocacy, emphasizing its role in social change and the amplification of community concerns.
Our commitment goes beyond advocacy. We offer an array of social services, including counseling sessions for mental health and cultural adaptation, financial planning assistance, and awareness programs addressing social issues and health.
Current Advocacy Efforts:
We passionately promote Ga-Adangbe culture among youth, fostering a deep connection to heritage. Our advocacy extends to giving voice to the Ga-Adangbes in the Greater Toronto Area. We showcase Women’s Empowerment initiatives, including impactful workshops and programs promoting gender equality.

Our members have participated in community cleaning initiatives, contributing to the beautification and upkeep of our local environment.
Our Homowo Festival is a highlight of our cultural calendar, celebrating our heritage and bringing together members of the community in a vibrant and meaningful way.
